Sorry the closed beta launch isn't going as smoothly as we hoped. We're experiencing a firewall issue, and are working hard to resolve it.

I just tried to load it and it said I needed a new version of .NET framework or something.

Yes, you need Microsoft's .NET framework in order to run the game. If you don't have it (and it should download automatically through Windows Update) visit Microsoft's site and download it.

Having a game that's too popular is a good problem to have. Clearly there are a lot of people excited to play Project Powder, and we'll be working hard to ensure the servers are online tomorrow morning.

If you signed up and didn't get an email, you may still be in the beta.

Log into the Project Powder website and if you see the big orange "Free Download" graphic on the right, you're in. Download the client and enjoy! (As soon as the servers come online, that is).

The closed beta servers are up between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM PDT every day.

Has anybody got a chance to play? I was finally able to race against players outside of Outspark and had a great time. Personally, I really like the game, but I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts and feedback.

I did two single races and I had fun even though I was dead last on both. ^^; Then I saw the Tutorial thing so I'll be practicing a little in there for sure... the unfortunate thing is that I can only play for 2 hrs max since I can only get home at 5-ish. -hopes to get to level 5-

When I was creating my character it froze... and when I logged on again it was already created with no way to erase. .__. Oh well.

Level 5 doesn't seem too difficult. I'm already level 3! But the leveling curve is definitely fairly steep.

Everytime I click on the shortcut to project powder on my desktop it comes up with a preparing to install window and then shows a loading bar even though I already ran the installation. And It always patches every time I get to the launcher. :urweird:
