Just out of curiosity, and I'm not trying to fight with anyone I'm really just curious, why did you involve yourself at all pron? You said you didn't know either of them and it seems like you've mostly just poured gas on the fire. Are you a GM? It seems like in your efforts at peacekeeping you've done little but fan the flames of war in the game as well as dragging the fight into these forums. I think these are matters for the GMs to handle.

He shouldn't have intentionally crashed anyone, but the other party didn't need to shout to the world about it either, just make a private report to a GM and go on about your business.

why'd you get yourself involved in this topic? it was made public thats why i got involved, and it calmed down after i heard both sides of the story... my efforts of "Peacekeeping" calmed them both down =\ and stopped the flaming in Fiesta

End of the story (I'm going to make this PERFECTLY clear.):

My launcher didn't download the previous patch (the one prior to tonight's) correctly.

I heard a player, mintmint, say the emote Sit in the corner was removed; I looked at my emotes, and it was still there, so I used it.

I'm sitting around for a bit, and then I hear mintmint say, "WTF I JUST GOT D/C!?"

I say, "Hey, what emote was removed again?" minmint told me it was Sit in the corner, and I said, "o rly?" and did it again. It took a few seconds, but I noticed people were logging out (this is what I had figured at the time), and then logging back in.

mintmint logged back in and complained about disconnecting, so I told her/him to let me try something; I used the emote again and noticed everyone d/c again. -- This would be where I realized I could d/c people. I then apologized to everyone (that could see the apology) for the disconnection.

Now, I went ahead and asked the people around me if I could do it again, so I could show one of my family members that was in the room, and I heard a few yeses, so I went ahead and did it.

Now, of course there always has to be a jackass in the crowd, and that jackass was Alraune.

Instead of whispering me about it, she stars using the shout command and continuously saying, "Report Izual, he's disconnecting people." I asked her to stop repeatedly, and she wouldn't (since other people were joining in on it, asking how to report me, etc.), so I got fed up with her and disconnected her intentionally a couple times, alone with people in the general area.

Now, after this is when she switched accounts (apparently) to Verdandi, and then continued to harass me. -- After this point I made no more disconnections.

I'd say for a good 20 minutes she was spamming how I am disconnecting people, and to report me for hacking. The only thing going on at this point is arguing.

Then Pr0nWaffle comes along and everything cools down, but, and he is a witness to this, when he first asked her to stop, she said no, and her (not exact) words were, "Because I enjoy pissing him off."

So, yes, I did intentionally disconnect her a couple times, but I don't think I deserve being banned for it, but I am, and I think she should have /some/ kind of punishment as well, because I wasn't harassing myself.

P.S.

Your girlfriend also said she had screenshots of me trying to make people pay me 500c a piece not to disconnect them, and when I told her to post them on the forums as proof, she declined.

Like I said I was just curious. It just seems odd to me when people seek out confrontations that aren't their own. If I come across people I don't know arguing in public, in a game or in life, I might take a look as I walk by but other than that I just go on about my own business. Unless it's really getting out hand then maybe I'll call the cops. Some people are compelled to intervene and I wondered what makes them feel the need to do so and I asked.

If you really did help the situation in the game then good work, it's more than I'd have done, which would have been nothing. Shame on the GMs however for not handling the situation themselves. I apologize for assuming otherwise. I wasn't there I was only judging by many of the comments you made on here which have been pretty argumentative and degenerated into a flame war. Welcome to the forums by the way. :)

@Envy Send that End of Story post or something similar to the GMs and hope they reconsider, bout all you can do at this point I guess. I think you might have caught em on a bad day. Also, have you actually reported the bug to Outspark?

What I find funny is that this is a "Casual" game, and I'm being banned for "abusing" a glitch, when I was the one being harassed. It's almost like the game isn't really that casual at all...

Er? So you ask the nearby people (probably 15 or so players) if you can disconnect them, a couple say yes so you think you have permission to disconnect them all? The only jackass here is you. If you wanted to test it, you'd go to a secluded area with your friend.

So how do you explain the 30+ disconnects?

Lol what. You were disconnecting her and everybody around you. You were probably pissing off a lot more people than actually complained about it too, as most people keep quiet about it. She was just upset about it - and rightly so. You're the only one who deserved to be punished and you got what you deserved.
