Yes, that'd be a problem too. In my eyes, a post doesn't have to be helpful to deserve a rep. If they were just considerate to other members like mikey:

then they deserve a rep. And that is just my opinion only, which could differ from other people.

There is still one person who is obsessively repping people. I think he needs to stop. Repping so much that he gets the post that says he can't rep for 24 hours. That kinda gives it away, but I won't say the name.

It's been (being?) abused no doubt about it, but I voted don't care, because I don't care either way. Just remove it and there'll be one less thing for people to bitch about. Then people will complain because there isn't one, though. There's no way to win.
