~_~+..I logged on to my archer today in apoline, then my friend told me he got hacked, he said he lost his 3 pets and all his items including +6 mace, ZK bow for his archer, and mini-dragon ring and much other stuff. He also saw the hacker running around in circles dropping his items in a corner in Elderine, and waiting for the item to dissappear from no one picking it up, he couldn't pick it up, since the hacker just picks up the item when he was there. He quit Fiesta after the hack. So...I think chain-hack is happening..again..D: nooooo

Well I got some bad news for everyone. It seems that the hackers strike again. They took other peoples account, I see people post on the Outspark forums.

Okays, how do we prevent people from hacking our accounts?
Is there anything we can do to prevent it?

Idk it seems like some guy was just walking and doing nothing and he got disconnected and then he couldnt log on. he went on his Alt and saw he was on in Roumen showing off.

So I guess by not going on? ^^

Omg I just remembered there is something like that, that my friend (who is an ex-FBI agent told me). He was taking some anti-hacking program for the Government and told me that some hackers can steal your password from gaining acess from your IP once you log on. Some are even good enough to take your IP even when your not on.

So maybe thats what their doing. They target someone and once they log on, take control of their computer and take the account...

All you can do as precautions is..
1. Do not advertise anything of value on the game you might have.
2. Its hard but.. really try to avoid talking to people you don't know in whisper. According to some people, whisper has something to do with it.
3. Avoid using the cash shop.
4. Don't use Fiesta in multiple locations, like work, cyber cafes, etc.
5. Avoid confrontations.

lvramire isn't guilty of anything other than having a lot of nice stuff.

You can PM me about it on the forums and let me deal with it. I am fairly good about investigating and dealing with hacked accounts.

Ummm.. I can do all of the above except the cash shop. I have spent lots of money in the cash shop already. It is going to be a shame if the cash shop has some link to the accounts being hacked. Then users will not want to use it and it will hurt the company in the long run.

a keylogger is a "virus" that can record what you typed, and it sends it off to the hacker for them to hack your account...
