Is the premium user thing the reason why I can't play games in the arcade? I keep getting a thing saying people in my group aren't allowed to access the games.

Thank you! The spam is getting crazy up in here.

Anyways... I think the rank shouldnt be based on post counts but it should be based on merit, maturity, and activity. I mean anyone can spam to 1000 posts, but to get a real credible rank, it should be based on what you do, not how much you do it.

Quick Links --> Members List ---> Click the link that says "Posts". It'll sort it from highest to lowest post count. Just count down to see.

That would be hard, because everyone has a different standard of "maturity" and people will start whining why some are seen more mature than others.

Premium User is just a little feature to encourage people posting, I guess, but I never expected it to effect everyone that much.

My infraction was in result of me trying to spam my way up in July, since Keetos had a little signature that said "1,000 posts gets you Premium Status!" What some people fail to understand is that spamming does take effort. Yes, I know it sounds a bit contradictory, but Valentines and I were actually carrying out a conversation--split between seven threads.

And I wonder if I keep Premium User if I'm below 1,000 posts, such as now. O_o

They generally started on topic. We would discuss them, but then one of us would make some off-hand remark that was only slightly off-topic. The counterpart, however, would snowball it, and that's where it starts to become spam.

For example, the thread of any lv59 players here? started off on topic, but my post (third one down, yes, it's my fault) went off topic. It just snowballed from there.

Well, yeah, that's what I was saying? If it's something on topic then yeah, I guess it's ok but like you said, things go off topic and that's when it becomes a big no-no.

I think only the ones that were really close though tried to make it. Those of us that are too far away, will just post away and wait.

Well maturity isnt hard to really define... its just not flaming other members and being respectful overall. After that nothing else really matters... maybe maturity is a bad word for it, but ya know. And I knew that it would make people spam... I've seen it on other forums, its beyond crazy. People spam to get ranks cuz ranks make people freak out.

Not flaming and being respectful is something every member should be doing, though. Shouldn't be something that needs to be rewarded for.
