The blurb sounded really typical / boring but because it was rated so highly I watched it anyway without expectations. |

Has anyone watched Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo (Children who chase lost voices deep below)?
I lovedddddddd it but as I keep reading online reviews, 70% of the reviews were hating on it because Makoto Shinkai copied Ghibli too much and it wasn't up to the standard of 5cm... it's definitely influenced by Miyazaki's works but I don't understand why it bothers people so much =( I don't usually care if other people dislike it, but because there aren't many that likes it, there isn't any enough online reviews that talks about their own interpretations of the film which I like to read about T_T_T_T |

Do you like slice of life animes? Because it's like that for the first half(i think) of the show but once you get to a certain episode you'll get INTO IT. LIKE REALLY FRIGGEN INTO IT.

Up to ep 18 now. Things started to get interesting at around ep 9 or 10 and characters became less annoying LOL
I'm hooked now though. I wonder if I have to rewatch again in case I missed stuff hahaha. |
