I just got done eating. My mom prefers us to eat early, not good to eat such a big meal at night. I feel like my tummy is going to go splodey on me. I might go roll over to my bed.

The Seattle school district thinks they should not recognise Thanksgiving as a joyful time, but it should be a time of mourning. There was some story on the news about them. D:<

We have black history month, but no white history month. D:
There's also an Eastern-Islander (Azn) month/day, sometime in spring. (May, I think.)
It really isn't celebrated, and I bet less than 10% of US citizens know it exists. :\

White day and Black day are a japanese / Korean thing i think... in Jap, Valentines day is when girls give chocolate and flowers to guys, and on white day (a week later) guys are suppose to return the favour..

We totally skimped on Thanksgiving this year, lol. Still had the food n all, but not as much as normal and we didn't even bother setting it all up or anything. Just self-serve on paper plates, sort of half watched a little football and that was that.

LOL Yeah I remember one year, me and my friends wanted to go celebrate black day together and eat ramen since we're all single, but LOL we never got around to it. Can't do that anymore, since one of us got a boyfriend!

Sounds like fun! =D On Valentines Day, my friends and I would go on what we call gay dates. Its not really a date, and we're not lesbians, but we'd go to dinner and a movie and give eachother a box of chocolates.
