You and your phallic-looking snowmen. D:

Destrus 03-02-2009 09:50 AM

they're great, and so much fun to build with friends :3

I don't feel bad because I don't have snow. There's a reason I live in a temperate zone. When I hit my brakes, I want to stop, not have to estimate how far I'll slide before I get to the stop sign. Or if I pull into a slightly inclined parking space, I don't want to have to worry about closing the door too hard and watching my car slide back into the parking lot.

Yes, both of those happened when I was in Ohio. I was assured that was perfectly normal. Screw that.

Destrus 03-02-2009 10:04 AM

lol, you should try somewhere in between. it's not normally that bad in MD. i cna't say much for PA though since i'm on campus and i'm guessing things cna be different here in terms of how quickly/well they take care of the snow and ice.

It may be pretty, but that's what pictures are for (and those are all over the internet - free for the looking or taking).

I live in an area that rarely gets snow and that is fine with me. I don't mind it once every 8 years or so just for the view, but that is plenty.

Its exciting to drive/be in a car when you know the roads are dangerous O:

I was totally pumped after riding in the car, with my brother, in December('07) of my 8th grade year @_@

Riding the bus was even better. I remember one time, we got stuck in the afternoon and like.. the right back tire, every time she hit the gas, started sliding into a ditch. Yeah, we all had to move over to the left side of the bus xD

LOL!!!!!!!

Its true xD!

Then we had to wait for a mechanic from the bus garage to come with another bus(extra buses ftw) and we all had to get onto that one. Then we were on our way~

I think giving up snow for hookers and blow is a fair trade-off.

:zomg:

We have the most screwed up weather where I live.

Tuesday, March 3: 36, chilly, NW winds 10-15 mph.

Thursday, March 5: 70, warm, SE winds 5-10 mph.

I realize this is random, but I wanted to rant.

Hessah 03-02-2009 11:41 PM

Hmm yeah we had that too... 20 Degrees C difference in the course of 1 day...

Does it seem like summer and winter came later than it normally does too?

Ralath 03-02-2009 11:42 PM

That weather is like the opposite of what we had a couple days ago...

70 degrees on Thursday.

Freezing today.

2 days before it snowed here it was in the 70s. 1 day before it snowed, it was in the 60s.

They have a saying for the state that I live in, "If you do not like the weather, wait five minutes and it will change."

Ralath 03-03-2009 12:31 AM

^I used to think that was a saying for my state.

And then I found out that people out on the East Coast say it too....

:uhoh:

A_Forever 03-03-2009 12:43 AM
