Lantern Souls are from BR? What's BR?

I've got 5 soloing for 10 minutes in Vine Tomb, and haven't even gotten the quest yet...

BR = Burning Rock.

Ugh, they drop about once every never. Well, it isn't THAT bad. I've got about 15 in an hour. Luckily I don't want that garish cat mask, so I'm good with 50. I'm a sucker for permanant things.

it will just take me half an hr to kill 1 thing.. i was missing 80% of the time.. literally... even T3 aim scroll wasnt doing anything.. now did dare solo there :lost:

Got a set of 50 already... 6 away from getting the second pudding. I took my mage who has a HWR from the apprentice program and got 20~ in an hour. D;

I'm a sucker for permanent things too... and I'd rather have the cat mask... even though it's kinda really creepy.

Btw Hessah, if my Fighter can hit things there with an axe with a t2 aim scroll I'm sure you can hit the mobs in there. xD

It only took me about 5-10 minutes as a lowly level 4x mage to kill a chicken at BR (solo, pots, and T1 scrolls only, prob buff can't remember), so you should be able to kill stuff there.

Yosei said that the aim was fixed in BR. It must've been cause I was able to kill the Kidmon and the Mole thingy without scrolls. And before it was a swing and a miss. :cheeky: So something good did come out?

Btw, has anyone taken a peek into the Lv80 abyss? It's SO pretty... and it'll look quite familiar too. xD

both are permanent, i risked^even thought people told me it's 30 days knowing OS, bought 50 laterns 15s ea in 10 mins, took the pumpkin head, PERMANENT ;)
So...if u want 1 of them and dont feel like grinding for or wasting lots on the cat mask, get the pumpkin head and u'll be fine :D

get the pumpkin head first. then collect for cat mask if u want to, atleast to me that's the wisest thing to do...depends on how long the event lasts.

I put a HWR on my fighter and went to Burning Hill to kill Marlone Clan Soldiers and Marlone Captains who were red to me and I only got 4 in an hour

the lanterns are edible. they regen hp and sp. how much and for how long I don't know though.

I think generally for quest items like these, its best to kill yellow mobs...

Why go after red monsters? I thought if they were red the droprate went to hell. I was slaughtering yellow monsters. ::shrug::
