In Australia, it's day/month/year. So it doesn't depend on the language, but where you live. xD

I live in the US but I use the day/month/year often due to MLA format or b/c my other school requires it that way (not normal high school)

lol, yeah, wiki it and you'll see it's one of many number based OCD's (Obsessive Compulsive Disorders).

It's actually coined, in medical books(roughly), as drawing arbitrary conclusions based on manipulating numbers with overly complex use of usually simple mathmatics. It works for any number. But the # 23 has stood out in society more, and over the years, so people give it extra attention.
