Hooray for being Australian I'll be able to both play the European and American version without any worries :D

Not like it matters since I'm bored with this game anyway :sigh:

That wouldn't work for me :(

I have a Dynamic IP, so while my IP address will always be from the UK, it will not be the same every time I go online. They shouldn't need to check the IP for when the account was made, just the email address.

Outspark's CEO was notorious in Yahoo! for establishing premium services, as well as being from ijji.

Those of you from ijji will know what a credential like that means.

Therefore, to be sardonic, I highly doubt she will calculate profit of such a brawl to be positive. After all, they've made $11 million within their first 5 months. It's always all about the profits.

Ahh...that's really bad....:/ Now I just hope they don't check IP address at all...

no, the way it would work is that even though your ip address is uk which would normally block you from logging in, it also checks when your account was made so if it was made before the ban you would still be able to log in. the ip address on login is just to keep people from using one of the website proxies to make an account and logging in. for them since their account would be made after the ban it still wouldn't let them in.

Hyper 06-28-2008 11:16 PM

The EU Fiestas will have wipes after OB. =|

good think u can use a proxy.

Yes, u can use a proxy with fiesta too. But u have to use a proxy tool, like proxifier

ThievingSix 06-29-2008 09:35 PM

And go into elderine with pre-dial up speeds? I don't think so...

MaxOff 06-29-2008 10:08 PM

u dont have to proxy the complete connection :nahnah:

Hyper 06-30-2008 12:47 AM

By what Alpha is saying, there will only be an IP ban on registering.

Andromeda 06-30-2008 11:56 PM

Well its official

http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86502

Prepare to bid the European players farewell

booyah8876 07-01-2008 12:08 AM

Well this is all comforting.

Goodbye everything, and I'll be forced to leave everyone, and everything I've known.

Yosei 07-01-2008 12:19 AM

I dub this thread the official discussion thread for this.

Hessah 07-01-2008 12:30 AM

it's not the entire euro...

just Germany, France and spain...

well... maybe some of u wont say its "just" the 3 countries...

Booyah arent u coming back to US?

Wait what? You're moving to the German servers?

Hazu 07-01-2008 01:04 AM

._. Are they just banning people from registering from those countries or banning them completely?

IP Ban so even if they make another account they wont be able to log into it

Triumph 07-01-2008 01:31 AM

Profit loss will be drastic.

If Outspark hadn't demanded that Gamigo IP ban US IPs, then maybe there wouldn't be such an issue.

It is vague as to which countries are banned, but I believe England and Italy are on the list as well.

Hessah 07-01-2008 01:42 AM

isnt it a given that Germany, Frances & Spain is PART of europe?? why did Outspark have to exclusively point out those 3 countries?

So i assume they're banning IP in those 3 countries... first.. for now.. LOL

BUT...

I guess the implication is.... Gamigo could potentially have licencing rights for the entire europe eventually... so.. maybe other countries will be on the agenda eventually....

looking at gamigo.. it's not in english.. I dont really know wat the culture / education system there is like.. but... does the entire europe speak german?

wat if u're an English player and doesnt speak german?!

Hyper 07-01-2008 01:42 AM

Sucks for the French and Spanish, since their Fiestas are due out in fall.

There is almost no community on the European version last time I checked. I could make more friends with tumbleweeds than there :(

You are better off beating a dead horse with a stick now.

Ivramire 07-01-2008 01:53 AM

omg nuuu ;___;

My aready small FL will all but perish.

Don't you live in the U.S. Booyah? Dx

Yami 07-01-2008 01:55 AM

Hurray for Europe. Hurray for being next to Germany. And hurray for prolly never getting our own version.

I only have one thing left to say and I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to say it.

FUCK FIESTA!

I imagine that the full Fiesta is not that bad, but as always with American games, they are watered-down variations of Korean games.

Hyper 07-01-2008 02:26 AM

Oooh, forgot to mention, there will be a different client for every language. Not server.

Those of you in Europe get ready to load up that hard drive.

This could possibly be the biggest MMORPG game if all countries in Europe did this Fiesta would be at least 40GB

Yami 07-01-2008 02:30 AM

Every language. Hooray, we don't even get games like Final Fantasy translated. Let alone Fiesta.

*falls into the deep dark hole between space and time*

Hessah 07-01-2008 02:30 AM

so with 1 server you can hv it in multiple client/languages?!

wow.. that sounds... hectic...

Since when did all of Europe speak German? If that was so, then the European Union, and translators wouldn't need to exist.

I have 3 Fiesta clients already X.x

Ivramire 07-01-2008 02:36 AM

You'll still come here on FF right ;__;?

Man, this is not good...

edit: haha, now that I think about it, I sorta play at a time when US sleeps and Europe comes on. Empty.

Ethelinde 07-01-2008 02:39 AM

Even though European players are forced to leave the servers they can still visit FiestaFan :nahnah:. But anyways, I'm sure more bans are on the way. The reason OutSpark VAGUELY point out that Germany/Spain/France = banned is so that the customers would continue to pour in money feeling a sense of safety imo. :err:

booyah8876 07-01-2008 02:40 AM

Well I can tell you German fiesta...

is weird...

I'll make another thread about it...

but of course I'll be staying back here with you guys >.>;
