Im about halfway through with the first book Marked so im buying the second one today hopefully. Im reading a random book i happened to see at my library called How Do I Love Thee?. Its a poetic romance in victorian times and it is sooooo sweeeet! lol I started reading Pride and Prejudice since my Uncle (visiting from SKorea) got it for me for Xmas. A series called The Montriazo. If anyone was familiar with Artemis Fowl, this is similar.

Not reading anything atm. I have something by Danielle Steele that was loaned to me, and I really should read it next so I can return it, but I just can't find motivation to start it. I don't know that I have ever read anything by her so that may be one issue - the fear that it will be something I don't care for but will have to finish it if I start it.
I was reading a downloaded copy of Pride and Prejudice, but can't read that since the PC with it on it is in the shop. Maybe I should just download it to this laptop and be done with the indecision. |
im reading the tag on :ninja: liz :ninja: cloths it tells a good story

Just finished reading Dark Calling and Hells Heroes today BDEX. The end was pretty good, except for how it ends with grubbs gay speach, but I loved the twist that Bec was just acting, she did it well I wanted to go into the book and throttle her myself.
|
I finished The Van Alen Legacy tonight. Basically read the whole thing tonight. Lol. Haven't been reading it cause.. uhh.. I forget to the books I have sometimes.

Just finished Mermaids in the Basement (Michael Lee West) and am in the first couple of chapters of The Widow of the South (Robert Hicks).
Before Mermaids I read Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West (Gregory Maguire) and it was good enough that I plan to read Son of a Witch & A Lion Among Men volumes 2 & 3 in the Wicked Years series. And I suspect I will go on to read a fourth book by Gregory Maguire: Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. |

I'm currently reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
I like it so far. Imma try to get my hands on The Swarm by Frank Schätzing after I'm done with The Road. |
Asimov's Foundation trilogy. Currently just started the 3rd novel, Second Foundation.
|
I haven't really been reading this summer. I find that super depressing. Once I get back from Florida next week, I will be reading my AP Physics packet and doing the summer work.
I really want to read Ellen Hopkins' books though. Cranked, Glass, and Fallout (Fallout comes out this year.) Which is a series. I also want to read Impulse, Identical, and Tricks. Already read Burned. |
I have to read Tartuffe by Moliere for this French Lit crud.
|
I'm a big fan of Piers Anthony's Xanth series, and I hit the jackpot when I was on vacation (I found around twelve of his novels, I only had two prior). So, I've been reading those. I finished the first one not too long ago, and am about halfway through the second one (I read it already, just wanted to read it again now that I've read the first). Unfortunately, I don't have the third. =(
But that's okay, what I have should keep me occupied for quite awhile. =D |
Recently finished reading Patricia Cornwell's Book of the Dead.
Another great author with forensic anthropology and getting into the mind of a violent criminal. Though I still love Kathy Reich more... hoping another book will come out soon. >< |
I'm reading The Riven Kingdom by Karen Miller atm.
I just want to know how it ends T_T |
i have read angels and demon by dan brown and that was a good book
|
Nana by Emile Zola
|
Book 13 of Wheel of Time. Called Towers of Midnight. Not sure I like it so much, but I'm just thankful to be getting an ending to the series finally.
Brandon Sanderson just doesn't do as good a job as Robert Jordan when it comes to fleshing out fictional worlds, but he does get the narrative moving forward faster. |
I haven't read a book for a while now but the last book I read was, "First They Killed My Father" By Loung Ung
It was a very sad story :cries: |
