It's possible! It may not be as you're thinking it, but it's possible... and logical. Don't think of the dog as a dog. Think of the dog as a mother, call it a mother. Instead of saying "I have a dog." say "I have a mother." or even "I own a mother." The more you reword it, and say it... I have a dog who is a mother Therefore I have a dog who is a mother. That dog is mine Therefore that dog, who is mine, is a mother. That dog is mine and a mother That dog is my mother. Consider "mother" to be an adjective in this case, not a noun. |
