I don't need two browsers. I only have one installed - Firefox. The speed of firefox, it's lack of integration with the shell, the ability to customise it with different addons to make it work the way that's best for me, oh and the fact that it's Free and open source all mean that I use Firefox. The banner is promoting something that is good for the user, costs nothing, and saves time. I don't understand why people are complaining. :S

I didn't think it was that bad, I tried to make it as small as possible, and I do revisit some forums/websites with ads on every page,

Firefox loads much faster for me too, but my school requires me to have IE installed too. Bleh
