I had windows firewall and symantec antivirus and turned them both off, but the sounds are still there...

are you running some other program while playing? that could be it. or maybe ur comp can't handle something and is trying to tell u

Try playing on a desktop.. maybe your laptop can't handle it..

I just realised a way to fix this problem... somewhat unconventional but works anyway.
Go to control panel and click "sounds, speech, and audio devices". under the "sounds" tab, select "exclaimation". (located under the "program events", u may need to scroll down). next, change the sound to "(none)". U may want to save the scheme as a custom scheme, so that u can change the schemes easily when needed. |
