LOL! You say that as a joke but I will tell you that many times Spirit is on the phone with me and when we get mobbed or trained she is yelling "Keep <enter whoever> alive if I die I die! Keep them alive". She has her blessing of Teva but she also uses it to free me up to heal others. As for the OP, CS has only been open about 3 months. Many of us played and enjoyed the game before CS, and even then there was a very large span of levels in the game. There were people already capped and they had NO access to CS items. And before CS opened it was the same in regards to who wants to party with whom. I have been invited to party in KQ almost immediately on my cleric while my poor archer has gone an entire KQ (at same level mind you) with NO party at all. This disparity of treatment will be in just about any game regardless of p2p or not. |
Some of us can't/don't party with forum members, or even people we know. Getting in a party in FoS is impossible for me. Some of us don't live in the perfect land where you have a guild, or guildmates who ask you if you want to join them. Since I'm guildless and usually can't party with people I know, its both boring to party, and hard to find one that I trust. I would like partying with people on my friend list, but they honestly don't want me because I'm 9-12 levels below, and can't tank 20 Ancient Stonies at a time. I can't AOE on Stonies, AOEing on Trumpys is dangerous, and ever since I sold my axe, I can't even solo an Orc without skill-spamming and a few stones. Yes, I'd like to party with a cleric who I know would care if I lose 10k+ when I die, but that just isn't how it works. (Yes, that is the real reason I've been the same level for over a month. I actually don't mind grinding, as long as it's a little fun...)
Clerics from 44-49 have easier times partying in Uruga/AEW, because they get less exp. There might only be a 75-100 exp per kill difference between that and 55+, but selfish people want every possible point of exp they can get. I've been in parties that choose the lower leveled clerics for this reason. No one wants archers if an AOE mage is an option. (Just stating a fact. Again, not counting guild partying.) More damage, faster kills, lack of skill use is impossible, there really isn't a reason to choose an archer over a mage. (Not talking about partying in a guild-made party.) |

i guess i know wat u mean with the 2 two paragraph... i live in a perfect guild world so i cant relate XD but i wont disagree with u either... HOWEVER! the last paragraph... is a class balance issue.. it doesnt hv much to do with CS items... |
Party or no party, guild or no guild, basically what I was saying is these issues are issues regardless of the ability of some to use CS items. These are actions of people and many of these people probably still have these attitudes (i.e. people willing to party or must do non-stop level grinding) even without a CS item to their name.
I perceived from the OP the the OPer blames CS these attitudes and the wide disparity between so many players, so that was what I was comment on, not specifically "Party or no party", "guild or no guild". (EDIT -@ Fly - I de-repped you and gave you a fifth red box. Your welcome :)) |
Mages with the Valentines suits... Well... Let's just say I'm staying away from PvP maps for a while.

Off topic!: Ascension was kinda fun way back when... Except they obsessed with grinding... But then the leader had a heart attack, came back for a day while he was still in a hospital, then was never heard from again... Well, maybe fun having other people to spam guild chat with. The last guild had about 4 people (including me), and 2 of those were alts... The master quit. Note: This was before the fall of MIKURU ("MIKUTU" xD), just so Val can't bring up my epic typo. EDIT: I <3 Loki!!! 8DDD I think at first what I was writing related to what someone had said, but I didn't quote. /was too lazy to. If one thing drives me nuts, it's people getting mad for dying if they have a Blessing on. When I buy one, I always tell the clerics to take priority in others/offer to sacrifice myself and take mobs away/become human shield. :D |
I used to duo/trio and when we get mobbed I always tell whomever I am with to just run for it cause I have Teva. And whenever I get a party we check who has Teva so the Cleric can keep who doesn't have it on their top priority list if and when the tank falls.
The 7/30 exp cash item was going to happen sooner or later. I kinda think they would've made more if it was hourly? But whatever floats their boat. As long as the prices aren't unreasonably high. |
@ Hessah and spirit, we know you have alot of friends and G_G is a great guild ....BUT
You need to take a look at it from a different perspective. Not everyone has a friendly majority non cash shop guild that is so closely intwined. Not everyone can so easily get a party so much. The game community outside of your guild can be much more....hostile?...No not a good word but you get the point. If you tell someone "well its time for you to get some Friends"! understand, that it could be harder for some other people especially in other servers to find a community like yours. Oh ya btw: Imo archers at 51 > mages until 60 Aoe poison FTW |

yeah i know not everyone has a friendly guild and all... i was just trying to make a point that not EVERYONE will use CS just coz its out there... and that not all non-CS players are crap... |
That's true, there's ton with CS who act like crap just because they think they're above people who don't own CS items.
