We're still deciding, because if we do what the officials does and only have one post stretch, then we probably won't really need a strict size limit. So we might be making a guide line instead or something, a bit like what you sent.
|
Yeah, thats what that is. Its the Avatar and Signature Guidelines for all Forums I create.
I also got a six page guide on how to navigate the forum...but I lost that document... |
you should have to scroll within each post, keep down load time and memory

There's a SIX page guide on how to navigate your forums? ... That's a complicated forum... |
No, it goes into the basics. It's mostly for people comepletely knew to the forum thing.
It has alot of images so maybe that would cut down about 2 pages. so 4 pages(In word of pure text of various sizes). I was very proud of it. ^^ |
Hi again =D
i thought a few days ago i saw that wat i suggested was implemented - only widen the post with a large picture and not other post in the thread... but then it's gone back to the old way... was i seeing things... or was it implemented for test? and it's been decided against? -just curious- |
Speaking of massive sigs, alexbre, your one is MASSIVE. Even though it's mostly text...
|
This has always annoyed me too. Not so much a sig problem as a general screen shot and other image problem.
I'd love it if you do something to keep it from stretching the whole page. Either stretching out individual posts like what Hessah's talking about, or just auto-resize all images over a certain size (with the option to click for full size) like other forums do. |
Hmm. It appears that it only works for signatures. We'll ask the admin. o:
|
Can't you (or Entropy) set it to resize larger images. Like this.
When I posted those I just used the regular IMG tags same as on here and it automatically sizes them down for the forum. |
