Enraya, why do you feel pressured to level? That is my first question.

i lvl from grinding every 2-3 days.

Well, I mainly feel pressured to level because of the people around me and what they say. You know "newb is n00b" and stuff like that. And first of all, I want to level so they don't treat me with such disgust. It's like they're handling dirt or something; I'm a person, I know how to play, I may be 3x but I at least have experienced something. Some people just ... ignore me. I never bother people voluntarily, and have never asked a random person for a buff/dispell yet, but some people just look right through me =/ Even if getting to a high level will be a hard grind, I want at least some kind of respect, even if it's little.

Secondly, I feel left out. As I've already said, my friends are much higher above me. They're really nice: a lot of times they drop out of their grinding parties just to help me farm or level, and I really appreciate it. But, while they're doing all this for me, they still have their things to do. I get left out of a lot of activities because of my level.

Third, I want to help out others. I've always admired people that will take a break from grinding and help out people. I know that a lot of people say that I can help others that are lower, but I really haven't taken the time to do that. I want to level up, become strong, take a bunch of newbies that want to learn (and are not noobs >__>") and help them out ;O My friends help me, and when will it be my turn to help them? That is my question.

Second question. If you are happy at the level that you are at and you do not care to level quickly, then what does it matter what other people think? Just ignore them and work at your own pace. All that should matter is that you are having fun playing the game your way.

Since the beginning of OB, I have gotten to level 63, thats 5 months? My 20s.. I'd level once a day, same for my 30s, or maybe every other day, 40s, every 2 days, 50s, once a week, if I grinded hard I could almost put in 2 levels. 60s... not even once a week o.o

I probably have no place posting here due to my level, but I have to agree with spirit.

I level slow as dirt. I have been playing for three weeks and yeah, I was hardcore grind/quest untill level 24. once I hit the 1/3 marker in ANY game I play, I dont know what it is, I just start to get bored with grinding. I focus more on what i want to focus on. for a while it was enhancing weapons. I went around and enhanced the lvl 1,8, and 15 bows for people for FREE. Because it was what I WANTED to do. People I had on my friends list would say things to me about my level but I dont care. Im playing the game the way I want to play it, and I throughly enjoy it. Because in the end, its YOUR character. Its YOUR game.

And as far as helping people, everyone needs help and I guarantee that your friends will in some way, shape or form come to you for help. It might be because you found some green gear that he can use, or that he needs lower tiered items, but everyone CAN help everyone in this game.

And most of the time its not about helping who you want to help, its about helping who you CAN help. alot of people just a few levels shy of yours populate the FoM on my server, asking all KINDS of questions. I have physically walked someone to where the ratman spawns because he didnt kno how to turn the grid squares on in the map.

Play the game your way and forget what everyone else says.

Well I level my Archer about 1 level every 3-4 days I play. (Usually casue I cant find a good party, and when I do it doesnt last long). And my Cleric I level her 1 every day.

Do you already have four characters on your account? You can keep this one for the production that it has and then just throw items in storage from your new mage was it?

I level SUPER SLOW! I was on par with a fighter at 27. Now I am 34 and he is 49 or something? Hehe I play at my own pace and am having fun making golds :D

I level... don't know. I often restrict myself due to quests or something so sometimes I level pretty fast (for my playing style) and other times really slow (which, for me, is normal).

iono but it takes a long time 4 me 2 lvl
ive been playing as a mage 4 like a month and i jus got to lvl 20 today
But regardless im still happy i finally made it im so n00bish
