lol, some people say the perfect aoe party is 1 fighter, 1 cleric, 1 archer, and 2 mages.

I'd say that's a good party right there.

ask ScoobyDoo he kept saying
1 tanker 1 cleric 3 mage with NF

I say archers are better than mages. I tried mage for a while and couldn't stand it. It annoyed for some reason I could never figure out. I started an archer since my brother did and he liked it a lot more.

So, archer>mage. D:

In my opinion it's good to have at least on Archer in your party. Reason being if for some reason your tank dies... an archer can take over for the brief second it takes for the tank to be revived again. With our Nature's Mist we can pull aggro easily. Can a Mage do that? Not likely.

Enraya 12-26-2007 07:17 AM

Mages are paper that can give paper cuts.
However, I would agree with Loveless. If the tank fails and the cleric needs time to revive, an archer should take over. With an invincible, the archer should be fine while the tank is being rezzed.
Mages can't do that. They are, however, very good for AoE parties, while archers aren't so handy =/
