WHOA! My mom has been cooking pho almost every Saturday for the last couple months and I'm starting to get sick of it too!

Scrubs. When my mother starts making a certain dish, she makes it at least 6 days a week. GG

Some people can do that! I have a friend who lives alone so it's just easier for her to cook 1 big batch and eat that all week..

I'm lazy but I can't eat the same thing all week even if it means less work for me..

I heard a few people raving about food in Vietnam and how fantastic the country is for a holiday. I want to go there now.

It was so hot/humid there but the food was soo good. And pretty cheap too, but actually, not as cheap as you might expect. I thought a lot of the stuff was the same price as stuff you get in the US.

But I stayed with a friend and they had this pho... stall(?) outside their home and that was amazing. We only went once. T_T

If I had to choose, I would actually choose Thailand over Vietnam though. There weren't as many tourist-y things to do in Vietnam as there were in Thailand.

I've watched a show where a Vietnamese-Australian chef travels around Vietnam showcasing all the foods. He'd usually convert the prices to AUD and it's all very cheap @_@

Also my friends who have gone say bowls of pho go for <$1

But you have to be very careful because it's likely that you will get sick

We went to his restaurant once and met him! Kev was so star struck~ He's a really nice guy~ bringing out our dishes personally and telling us what they are!
