I sometimes think the current US parties is very similar to our Aussie parties at the moment...

Got Obama / Gillard that's trying to do good things for the middle to low class of people, but lots of people don't like their way of politics, they don't like the systems that they've put in place which mostly effects the poor...

But the alternative candidate is some dude that everytime they open their mouth something horrible comes out... a party that may have good ideas (well nrly) but is lead by a person that comes across sly and unreliable...

I'll spare you guys my politics but I'm pretty sure most of the Western world thinks the Republican Party (the Party, not necessarily Mitt Romney) is just batshit crazy.
