OK, I'm on the fifth episode of season 1, the caravan one. Aside from the sort of association with Travellers, why is there such a disdain for caravanning? We call them RVs in the US, I've done it a few times, and it is rather nice. I mean, we didn't have the sort of party they have, but a bit of mobility while seeing the sights was quite nice.

Its seen as something very 'working class' in England. Normally a family would go on holiday to either a foreign country or to a seaside area, so it's seen as something working class to go sit in a caravan for a week in an, often dirty, park.

Ah, right. Should have seen that. Usually when I don't get some cultural foible, it comes down to the class system.

Finished the series, by the way. Not bad, but it ends a bit abruptly. I'll try to catch the film.

You've watched all 3 series ? Glad you likes it. The film ahs only come out recently so you might struggle to find a good quality

Yep, finished all 3 series. I most identified with Gilbert, though. Probably the difference between watching it as a teen and as an adult.

Also, just realized that the chick that played Carli is Tony Head's daughter! Wow. That explains why I kept thinking I knew her from somewhere. She does have quite the resemblance.

I have no idea who Tony Head is xD
And yeah, Gilbert isnt seen much in the film, but when he is its hilarious, especially at the end.

Ah, I never watched Buffy when it was on TV here, I was pretty young at the time and Tom and Jerry seemed more interesting.

Sigh. I'll try not to feel old, seeing as Buffy and I were the same age.
