When we bought our PS3 we got 4 free games we could download, so those game sat on the hard drive.. and we often get gigs and gigs worth of updates for each game.. so it's used more than just for saving games..
of coz if you don't hook your PS3 up to your internet, then you wouldn't get any of those updates to sit on your hard drive.. The PS3 only comes with 1 controller, so you might need a 2nd one if you're playing with your brother or something.. (if u get a wired one, they're fairly cheap.. and I don't recommend a non-genuine PS3 wireless controller) And just make sure the games you buy you don't need the Move or watever other bits and pieces are called... |
They actually have wired controllers? I need a new, cheap one but I've never even heard of those.
I wouldn't quite call it gigs and gigs lol. I don't know what you play but even CoD's updates arn't that large, I think the largest one I had was a DLC for CoD, not an automatic update. Ps- don't get the six axis controllers ... they are pieces of shit, make sure you get the dual shock ones. |
My last Mod Nation patch was 3 lots of 700MB... and every other game we played as several patches in those sizes upon playing the game for the first time...
We can buy wired controllers here, for like $15-$20 random brands, considering our genuine wireless controllers here are min $90, that's fairly cheap for us.. the only game that I've played so far that uses the six axis is Ghost Recon 2, when you lie flat on the ground, you can flick your controller to roll xD |
My cousin uses PS2 controllers. Win.

Since when is the ps2 controller compatible with the ps3...?
|
USB? I see him using it... idk :C
