They sell it in stores. It's no longer in beta. WoW is considered a full game, even though it updates periodically.

I don't really consider LoL a full game yet. The foundation of it maybe, but nowhere near the complete thing. I also don't think WoW is a comparable example. WoW has been out a few years now and is of course the massively bigger game and just rakes in the money, so of course it can afford to roll out content and expansion packs.


What do we have in LoL? One competetive map with different brush placement/coloring and a "coming soon" draft mode which is supposed to be the true heart of the thing for competitive players.

They need to start getting major updates. I'm barely playing LoL right now because there's really nothing new to keep me entertained =/

They should have server problems fixed before selling it on store shelves. there were several different times last week where servers went offline. It should probably have stayed in the beta stages till they had everything like this fixed. Adding more champs, i understand, but server problems like this are rather disappointing.

Once in a while is understandable; if it went down at the rate of a game like fiesta, i'd totally understand. but it's getting rather disappointing.

then again, i didnt buy it at the store, so i guess i dont have much room to complain.

You also gotta remember this is Riot's first game ever so this is all new to them. Even games like fiesta and WoW still get emergency maintenance and downtimes and they've been out for years.

Uhm, its not the same at all. What you buy in stores is the collector's pack. Who the hell would buy something when they know it's free, the actual game just comes with the pack but no one cares about it.

Yeah, i know. Just think they should've been in beta a bit longer, till everything was sorted out. it can totally wreck people who gear up with exp and ip boosts.

Fiesta isn't a full game yet...Even that it gets updates :c
