I'm like currently saving for Whirlwind. It could come up in a quest... But so far I only have 1k fame.

5) Yeah, only certain skills like level 20/60 skills though. But you can get the level 20 ones for free from a quest so you don't need to buy them with fame.

6) For certain titles, you automatically get fame for getting them. But I don't know which titles they are.

7) Yes there is a whole list in wiki. It tells you what you need to do for certain titles, but I'm not sure sure about the shouting titles (do people really count how many times they shout before getting the title? xD But Announcer isn't hard to get.. just make sure you don't make it really spammy or a GM can ban you).

8) Alchemy skills = pot/scroll/stone production skills + decomposition/composition.
