Well since that temp in 1998 was recorded nowhere in Australia has recorded a higher temperature. The most significant event since then would be the 2009 heatwave that went across South Australia and Victoria

Yuck.. I shouldnt complain about our "heat" here.. it's nothing compare to you guys LOL

But they annoying thing about Sydney heat (not sure about other cities) is that all our trains break down when it reachs 30 degrees.. HAHA
