Open Beta doesn't necessarily mean that it's immune to wipes.

The second Fiesta Closed Beta ends today at 11:59 PST (-0700 GMT).

As previously mentioned, this means all game data will be reset. All character information including quest progression, inventories, skills, etc. will be deleted.
