But it doesn't make a difference whether I started my tabs one by one or restored it together. It happens randomly.

my firefox is fine O:
my IE is the one giving all the crashes lately

Ralath 10-25-2009 04:38 AM

I know that whenever I have Firefox open a long time, it'll crash.

I thought Firefox had memory leaks or something like that..

Hessah 10-25-2009 04:55 AM

have u tried clearing the cache?

Dynamics 10-25-2009 05:57 AM

Go to the tools > error console. Anything with a big red sign may be culprit. I get random crashes as well, but not very often.

Blaaaaaaaah 10-25-2009 06:01 AM

DIdn't try clearing cache.. and nope no red signs

it hasn't happened today o-o"

Hessah 10-25-2009 06:27 AM

Do you leave gmail open? I find if I just leave it open in a tab Firefox crashed more often. I think it has to do with the above mentioned memory leaks.

Ivramire 10-25-2009 06:27 PM

It might not be just leaving it open.

I usually leave my computer on for days at a time, Firefox being one of the open applications. Haven't had any crashes so far, but I do notice that it sometimes fails to load new tabs.

EDIT: didn't catch the GMail part :)
