I'm not saying that it isn't done or isn't popular. The companies may not feel like it is worth going after these small-timers, but it does violate copyright law.

Hell, Disney sued a daycare for stencliing their characters on the wall and won. If these guys aren't paying the appropriate liscence fees to the respective copyright holders, they are in violation.
