someone explain to me nicotine please. i obviously don't know anything about this stuff but i thought it was something seperate from tobacco (so that you wouldn't get it just from smoking tobacco alone).

Nicotine is a chemical created by tobacco plants (among a few others), which is ingested in small quantities when smoked. It acts as a stimulant.

well i know that part but i wasn't sure if it came from the tobacco itself or something else in cigarettes. but i guess it comes from the tobacco? meh, i'm not addicted anyways and my friend doesn't appear to be addicted either.

It acts as a natural insecticide but, if ingested by humans (and other mammals), it produces a stimulant effect. It's like THC with cannabis (insofar as it's a chemical produced by the plant itself).

Cigarette contains over 400+ lethal chemicals in small doses. One of them is rocket fuel. O.o

Water is lethal in the right amounts.

So is air in IV drippers. But I'd rather have that than inhale rocket fuel.
