so a penny is 1cents and a dollar is $1
so it so like
penny = 0.01
one dollar = 1.00
so 100pennies equals a dollar
and a quarter is 0.25
and yea

100 Pennies(Pennies are 1 cent) = 1 dollar
20 Nickels(Nickels are 5 cents)= 1 dollar
10 Dimes(Dimes are 10cents) = 1 dollar
4 Quarters(Quarters are 25 cents) = 1 dollar

I had a huge jar of change in my room that I've been dumping my change into for the past couple of months. I just recently took it to a local Coinstar and apparently I had upwards of 250$ in change, it was about a 15pound jar of change, but I was able to get a pretty big coupon to use for groceries, heh.

I always thought dimes were 20 cents. o.o
