what attracts them is the bright light outside my room but there's no way to turn it off and facilities won't do it even though they know it attracts bugs and they get into my room. there is absolutely no need for it to be there i think. well except it is lighting up this section of the parking lot behind the house but it is a very poor design and obviously they didn't think about the bug problem before hand. they could have instead put up street lights closer to the parking lot. and actually there is a pretty tall one on the other side and it's not a wide parking lot. but no they want to be morons and cause us to get pestered by these insects.

i have turned backlight and brightness to 0 on my monitor. even ff isn't lighting up my room now

contrast is still the same. i can see fine. hmmm trying to think of how to describe it. idk, i'm not very descriptive. but it's not generating a ton of heat like usual now :D
