I live in florida............

Umm. I wouldn't even be on the computer during a hurricane. Lulz.

When 'they' know there's going to be a hurricane OR there IS a hurricane.. you're basically forced to turn everything off.

There's no AC, no computers/tv(Other electronics on in your home).. nothing. You even have to boil your water.

You basically sit in your home, do nothing and sweat o-o

Yeah.. I think I'll be fine. I'm pretty sure if its gonna be a really really terrible hurricane.. my mom would make sure we got far away or even out of the state.

But erm.. its whatever, really. My step-dad has been through some and he says its not fun but its not like, "Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. -constant worry-"

My mom, brother and I haven't been through one yet. (There wasn't a hurricane last year so erm yeahh.. brother and mom were happy)

where do you go during hurricanes?
i know you go to basement for tornadoes, but hurricanes are like water, so it would drown you?

Umm. Almost all houses you enter in Florida, do not have a basement. Maybe the really ritzy people put one in their home but majority of people don't have one in their homes.

Where do you go though? I suppose wherever 'they' tell you to go if you're in a erm.. well I call the most dangerous places, red zones. So yeah.. if you're in a red zone, I would think that authorities tell you to evacuate(to wherever they tell you to go?)

My step-dad/step-dad's mom/step-dad's aunt though all stayed home during the hurricanes they went through.

At my step-dad's mom's place and his aunt's place, there's hurricane shutter things on all the big windows and shtuff. I wouldn't be surprised if my step-dad and mom take us over to my step-dad's mom's place if there is a hurricane this summer.

I wish for snow and a stiff breeze.
