You are in your room, in an apartment, doing whatever you are doing at midnight, when you hear a scream from outside. You go to your balcony/window and look outside. A man stood with a knife outside, and a woman lay dead at his feet. The man turns and stares at you directly, then starts to make a beckoning/twitching motion with his index finger at you. What is he doing?

A normal person answers "He is beckoning you down, saying that 'I'll kill you too' or 'come and try to stop me.'"
A psychopath says "He is counting the number of floors you are up."

My best friend and I got creeped out after hearing the psychopath's answer. =o=
