yeah, but sadly today's culture focuses on physical appearance far too much.

She's amazing, and it's awesome that she has a chance to make it. any recording industry would've just laughed her off (which i think is bull, btw), so it's nice that she got her chance somewhere where they couldnt just judge her.

But I like the suspense where the middleman flips it really high in the air, both people rush to call their sides, and the coin just slowly comes back into the hand of the tosser.

Slowly, the tosser uncovers the coin, only to reveal the true victor...and fairly deal defeat to the unfortunate.

Sorry, I prefer truth over drama.

At this point, with as much recognition that she has gotten. Even if she does not win that show, then she will become something.

Everyone loves her and she has already been "sold" to the audience. Her story alone will sell albums.

Not to mention, it is amazing what stylists can do. My hubby was telling me about catching the Tyra Banks show on and it was an episode where she revealed what she looked like without make-up and a hair stylist. Hubby says that Tyra is dog-ugly.

So, even if we are a generation that bases a lot on looks, it is amazing what money can make you look like.
