LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a stupid process.. you shouldn't get MORE bonus for the re-test...

I personally don't believe in test and assessments for work.. really.. If i answer A, D, C, C, B, D, A... I'll be great at the job... pfft.

True, but the assessment had multiple parts.

One was SAT/ACT or general competency type knowledge such as math and analogy (the part we were able to intentionally mess up the second & third years).

Another part was specific to our products and services and the correct quoting of rates.

And the last part involved live role play sessions with a company that came from a different state and they also assessed our ability to respond and react to customers appropriately since our jobs were in the customer service sector. So it was more than just a test of Q$A.

(and I might add, that lady in the Customer Service video Hrae posted would have gotten the extra money since she would not have passed on the first go with that sickle in her hand!)

o.o That does suck, but either pay for it now or pay for it later.

At the high school I went to, the exit exam is only held on 1 day. From the morning to lunchtime. Those who finish ahead of the time were then sent to wait in the small gym (the tests were taken in the large gym) and weren't allowed to leave until time was up. Everyone else had a regular school day.

Well, I'm kinda happier now.

The school called my house. It was asking whether "your child was going to school on Monday and Tuesday." Good thing I answered the phone.

So it said,

"If you're child is going to school on both Monday and Tuesday, press 1 now."

*didn't press anything*

"If you're child is going to school on Monday but not Tuesday, press 2 now."

*didn't press anything*

"If you're child is going to school on Tuesday but not Monday, press 3 now."

*didn't press anything*

"If you're child is not going to school on Monday neither Tuesday, press 4 now."

*presses 4*

So, yay.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you suppose to go mon/tues to make up for the hrs?

So if you don't go will your school get fined?

Yeah, I'm suppose to go on mon/tues to make up the hours. But this is how I see it, and this is what some of my teachers have told me.

Okay, if we don't have these days, the school will lose $1000. But, the school will still lose money, since we all know that MANY students will not go school these days. It's a lose-lose situation. But, to lose less money, they have to use those days to make it up, since they'll get at least some money.

The teachers never told us, we didn't have to go, neither were they allowed to say it. When one of my teachers was asked, "Do WE HAVE TO GO?" They teacher responded, "Well, I can't tell you it's optional, but you know, that's like asking if today is optional, so...yeah."
