Vampiric strike has a huge CD of two minutes, not worth getting IMO. And in all guild wars no one does well solo against someone of the same level. You have to work together with the guild to down someone. That's balance.

The thing is though with a shield fighter you will have trouble making kills. But on the otherhand you'll be extremely hard to kill. The problem is though being a tank in pvp just makes you a distraction but anyone with the right mind would ignore you and go for a much squishier target

That thread you saw the other day that said 1 handed weapon is best is kinda true. Its the best weapon for grinding out of all of them but IMO if you EVER want to pvp, you need to pick up an axe.

ONE EMTREMELY IMPORTANT THING that the thread did not compare was that THERES NO DELAY BETWEEN SKILLS.
Pvp to be blunt is a warrior skill combo spam fight. If you have an axe and you skill spamming YOU WILL SKILL SPAM JUST AS FAST AS A 1HANDER but with more damage and higher crit rate.

Vampiric strike- yes the cooldown is a bish but it can save you from time to time.

Eitherway don't be afraid to use both 2handers and shields, Theres really not too complex differences betweeen them. They work well with all builds to an extent assuming you didn't empower slicendice or powerhit

I believe the most versatile build to allow you to wield both a one handed sword and the two handed weapons would be full spirit. No other build benefits all the weapons, and allows you both a reasonable PvE/PvP presence as a fighter.

im a end/spr build and I wield both a 1h/shield and an Axe ^^.

Renin knows my build is okay ^^. Tanking is wonderful but when it comes to PVP i have to rely on my guildmates more >.<. Or when it comes to lvling i need to rely on the dmg dealers.

U know what sucks though?

seeing a cleric doing more dmg then me lol.

Agreed sad thing is all of the cleric weapons outdamage thier fighter counterparts.

A cleric's hammer will do more damage then a fighters 2handed sword. BUT THEY GET TO KEEP THE SHIELD...
If it wasn't for the cleric's HOPELESSLY LOW AIM...Fighters would be out of business..

The axe is the only weapon that outdamages a cleric's...
