It's fair when...

- someone in your party dies because you weren't paying attention
- someone in your party dies because you were attacking
- someone in your party dies because you healed yourself instead of using stone
- someone in your party dies because your reaction time is 5 seconds

...just to name a few. And of course...

It's not fair when...

- someone in your party dies because tank can't hold aggro
- someone in your party gets 1HKO'd
- someone in your party dies because you were trying to heal everyone at once
- someone in your party dies because you died when monsters mobbed you
- someone in you party dies because you got glitched

Sometimes, it's hard to differentiate though @.@

O.O still...

Whether it's inadvertently aggroing stray mobs by moving away from the party, refusing to use Hp Stones when it's obvious that someone else needs Heal more, using lifetap at the worst times, just don't make it harder for the guys trying to keep you alive :nahnah:

Exactly. I'd smack a mage usging life tap in the abyss during a mob invasion. Drop from party and attack.

Good points. I see that you have been on both sides of the equation as well....

This thread shows just how stressful a clerics job in a party is, especially when party members don't consider that the cleric has others to support and must keep themselves alive as well.

Rarely does any other class get yelled and cursed at ( and feel bad about) for a death.

Clerics are the easy ones to KS, they can't leetch without being noticed ( and commented "HEAL!"), and they can't afk for more than a very short time. Often, when I complete and leave to turn in a quest I will come back to find the rest of the party in their houses resting and taking a break awaiting my return. Party members go to rest during lulls but rarely at the same time. When does the cleric get a break? Often the loss of the cleric causes a breakup of the party.

I may be making it sound worse than it is, there are many considerate plp out there who value and support their clerics. prolly cuz they been there!

True. Love your cleric(s). The good ones.

Manzcar 03-19-2009 05:27 PM

try being the only cleric in a party in Mara KQ with 3 Fighters who all want to tank.

now thats stress.

Thankfully they understood I couldn't heal all three of them at the same time and they used their stones... a lot.

★ I think if your healing and rezzing and what not,
★ And someone dies you were healing i would think it would be
★ The clerics fault, other then that no. :I

It is stressful. Most of my cleric friends quit by the time they get to their level 60s. By the time you get to the 80s, it's rare to find a (experienced) cleric. :/ A lot of the clerics who made it to that stage got plvled, I notice. =_=

Yeah they do get help with leveling. That's where I come in. :nahnah:

Okay.. Number 1.. I never expected to get this many replies from my thread and number 2.. I finally realise the hard work of our clerics in Fiesta XP
