Reminds me of a time I was part of a simulation of sending a live group to Mars. I was in the role of a Mission Specialist, trying to get instructions to one of the groups handling potentially hazardous samples on Mars. All communications had to go through one person/panel and that person was amazingly bad at it. They couldn't handle multi-tasking and kept playing "favorites" to her friends, which was drawback of doing this simulator with high schoolers, I suppose. A lot of my messages were lost and/or garbled/misunderstood. We had a radiation event because my counterparts on the ship got bored with nothing to do and just screwed around with the remote arm and radioactive samples. Good times.

Perhaps, But space is not all that appealing to me, Big deal, An endless expanse of rocks, hydrogen and helium, And perhaps the corpses of all the failed experiments that america launched out.

:D

But it's space, the last truly unexplored place. There could be nearly anything out there. That doesn't excite you? Discovering strange new worlds? New forms of life that we can't even fathom at the moment? I'd give your right arm to discover the first non-carbon based life.

Sure, exploring new worlds sounds fun, but the dangers involved in all of this can ensure that you gotta pick Ambition vs Life value

Would you be willing to give up your life in any manner of gruesome ways to see something as cool as an unexplored planet?
