I thought forum events don't usually earn you any IG prizes...

It IS a Forum MVP event so mostly you'll get a tag.
And Usually Forum Events usually give MVP tags.
I really can't think of any Forum Events that DO give IG Prizes.
Besides Events that are posted on the forums and announced IG.
