And if I was going to rub anything in, I would tell you that I have been to about 10 or 12 races and only have paid for 1. I was actually taken down to Daytona last year to work the Daytona race, got to sit in the hospitality tents to watch the races, and meet some of the drivers (all for free. they even paid for my food and gave me free clothes). I have actually met Dale Jr. in person, and I have several autographed items by several different drivers. Now that is rubbing it in, lol.:p |
Spirit of Mean
And we see the name change - Spirit.
This thread has turned into Spirit of Mean. Stop rubbing it in (and I still think you threw things on the track). |

You are killing me here. The only driver I have ever met in person is Mark Martin. I almost got to meet Jeff Gordon once but there was sooooooooooooooo many people I couldn't get over to where he was. |

I am glad you had a good time. You want to know something funny, at the start of the race, I was like, I need to see if I see Spirit. Then quickly realized I am an idiot, I don't know you other than in here. Had to LMAO at myself. Did you think some of the race was kinda dull, like when they were all single file for like 20 -30 laps, or is it not bad when you are there. I like to see people chalenging for the lead a lot.

It was boring at times!!! Like when Jr. was leading and they were all just following in line. We sat down for most of the race and I have never sat down at a race before. The only time it was exciting was when Jr was taking the lead and when there were wrecks. But for the most part is was the Dega Congo line and not much action. I so wish they would take the restrictor plates off them cars and let them "Duke" it out in "old school" style racing. kk, I HAVE to actually do work now, so if I don't reply back immediately, it's because I'm actually doig what these people pay me to do, lol. I'll check back later this afternoon. |

I would love to see them take those plates out of the carbs. Remember a couple years ago when they tried an aero package to slow them down so they could be less restictive with the plates and it made them be able to "duke it out" better, then nascar I guess decided they didn't like how racey (not sure if that is a word but you know what I mean) they were. I like that. I say just take it off completely and let them go with it. Indy and formula 1 cars go 230 plus, whynot a nascar. |
