yeah they are messing with the color settings too :/
gonna try and run photoshop in windows 7 and see if I have the same problem
in the meantime I made a thread about it on cgsociety

btw. you should check out cgsociety loveless
its so awesome
and there are some really really awesome portfolios in there
like 3D rending that looks 100% real
and portfolios of people who actually work for pixar, movie studios, illustrators, or video game companies
and they have awesome articles like indepth interviews and such on how wall-e was constructed and the iron man suit

I tried it but not sure if anything happened o.o
I installed my adobe updates and now it seems better
its not as tinted as it was before
I think its still tinted
but it might be me being paranoid
but it doesnt look like #FFFFFF D:
its still more #feffdd ish

bleh.
photoshop wont let me run it across platforms
when I open CS3 on windows 7 the canvas does look white as it should be
