2005 was when they changed the scoring.

I couldn't find any handy conversion charts, but I did find an ACT to new SAT conversion. Works well enough for me to know where I stand when people start comparing brainpans, LOL.

It's out of 2400 now. Basically, all they did was add in another 800 point Writing section.

Some people still only look at it out of 1600 and they just ignore the Writing portion.

We midwesterners don't take the SAT unless we plan on going to costal region schools.

25/36 on the ACT WHOO. Still netted me a damn good scholarship.

Technically, I am a midwesterner(From Michigan. Even though we're Eastern time) and everyone takes the SAT there @_@ && Boo is from Ohio! Thats right under Michigan, soooo... yeahhhh

Well.. I don't know anyone who hasn't taken the ACT. Other than one of my brothers. I dunno. Even people here in FL take it.
