She put the month before the date. Aussies would normally call 10 December 2008 "10-12-08". Of course, I've been writing "Date Month Year" ever since French class in 4th grade...so sometimes it takes me a bit to remember how I need to write a date for the particular recipient.

Meh, I've been writing Month Date Year... that's the order you write in Japanese too... sooooo yeh.

Their language is so kind and polite.. i think even when they tell people off it still sounds polite LOL!!
