Hrm... I suppose if you know some basic information about your mom's boyfriend (ie..... Canadian equivalent of Social Security number, birth date, other info) that is needed to identify a person, you could call into the bank and ask to see how much money PayPal deposited into the bank account...

But that would be fraud... o-o;;

And heaven help him if that address was in the US. Then it'd be international bank fraud.

o_o since when do you need to get mail to add a credit card to paypal? i switch mine out all the time D:. just need to make sure the last name is the same as the one on the credit card. i've used mine and my mother's on my account and never had to verify anything.

it needed verification that the info is right, so it mails something
to your house then u gotta get the code that was sent in the mail
and type it in over paypal .. thats why its a hassle.

oh so he tried to add his bank account? i never did that, if he has a debit card try to get him to add that to his paypal account instead.

Even then, you have to verify it by entering in either one or two amounts that it charges. I added one recently, it was a pain in the ass.

o_O i never had to do that. the most that ever happened with me was when i tried using a visa gift card it put a dollar on hold which would be put back after i made a purchase. but i needed the entire $50 so i ended up waiting a couple months and it eventually just disappeared and i was able to use the entire 50.

Lol I just hooked my bank account directly up to PayPal, and they added a bit and it's so easy now...

It's not a hassle if you have a bank account lol.

They didn't even have to add any money in mine because I had online banking. I just had to sign into my online bank via PayPal and they confirmed me...
