Yes I'm pure STR, but I'm not complaining I only have 2 attack skills... if we're able to keep ourselves alive, and also given all of those attacks... everyone would be a cleric because they'd be so easy to just annihilate everything.

Well....of course they are a support character but just like with pretty much all MMO games that's not JUST what they are. I was just asking for one. Think that would be enough. I agree more than one for a cleric would be overkill but if you ever are a cleric you will understand....it sucks when someone just steals all of your enemies from you because they have an AOE skill and you don't. Even spam healing them most of the time won't bring too many of the enemies back to you. I'm not asking for an uber godly 'kills someone in one hit' AOE skill. Just one to actually pull some enemies to your cleric. So you don't have people taking your enemies or have to run directly up to an enemy to get the one you want and bring a big mob with you in the process.

That can't be too much to ask

As much as I've been saying that i want an AOE skill as a cleric.. was actually quite glad to hear that the AOE isnt a dmg dealing skill...

I think as a support class, we are already really good at soloing and being a "fighter" when we need to be... we have the option to fighter if we're not in a support role... and to give us even MORE dmg skills would really take the entire fighter class out of the game...

EWW no offence but i hate clerics i just love my tank and the only cleric i have is named hitsfromabong and i dont even play on it that often only my fighter lvl 36 which is newb lvl :devil:

Well as I kind of stated most of my last message was basically saying I wanted it as a skill to gather enemies instead of one to actually deal damage. I mean that would be nice...but like you guys said it wouldn't really be fair to the fighters.

It would be nice if trip/bleed delivered a meaningful blow and actually did some worthwhile damage with a 5.0m AOE so as to help the tankers. I hope that others in my partys find me useful when im just healing but i often feel like im just standing around.

well i thought of a AOE concept or something about clerics. Cleric's all about healieg, reviving deads and all so quite a priest in other words. so i thought that maybe they could have an AOE that deals little damages but put a little handicap on the ennemy like a burst of holy light that temporarily blinds the ennemy. Of course they run to you but then they would be handicapped in chances to hit or in chances to evade. Of course the highlight of this (High light XD) is the blinding thing the damage is just a tiny bonus to this. Of course cleric would like to have an AOE and i'm faily sure mages would want to heal themselves if they could (only they know it would be ridiculous). In some games priests/clerics/paladins whatever, have an offensive spell which is called holy. Something we seem to forget sometimes would be that of the elements mages use and i mean fire,ice,lightning, magic blah blah blah. Maybe shadow and light could get in. Shadow spell is like Fear and such but i doubt a mage could get holy or ''light'' spells and that would be cleric. I'm sure that's the thing most clerics are looking for. Maybe not an AOE like frost nova or a massive poison attack like those archers use but maybe just a little distance spell like magic blast for example. Maybe you think i'm speaking nonsense but you can disagree with my point but for god's sake, respect it...

That makes a lot of sense actually. On that note it seems like the likely decision would be to do something along those lines. Because like you said in other games usually the 'healer' of the group would have some kind of status effect skill or something along those lines. So that sounds pretty good to me. I'd hope it was like the poison skill still though where instead it blinds them or something instead of healing them. So they just have decreased aim.
