I like chogath.. it's just that I always keep dying and I can never reach 6 stacks for long.. and I'm so bad at getting gold in laning phase.. I kinda gave up.. LOL But I don't really wanna play tank in solo queue cos ppl will tell me off =(

Shen is a pretty safe tank to start with, I think. Except his R is hard. But no one really notices if you don't get it. ahahaha

Shen sounds like a good choice, only problem is that I don't know how good I'd be with him and buying him would take near all my IP.
