I consider Morde more of a tanky DPS than actual tank. Nasus/Morde are very similar, only Morde has more damage capability and mitigation through his shield. Nasus is better with CC and ult in teamfights+Spirit Fire.


If you're solo-queue, go Morde. Good pre-made = Nasus.

Shen is an easier tank to start with I think. It's easier to farm with him (because of his passive) and he has an escape with E. His R is tricky though. :x

Champs like Nasus and Morde are best when you have real tanks like Shen/Rammus/Alistar :x


I dunno about Shen being easier to farm with though.

In my experience, he's a LOT easier to farm with than say... Rammus or Alistair.


At least in the beginning. Rammus probably overtakes Shen if you can save his R for groups of minions. But then you can't use it in the team fights.

LOL oh man that game.. it was one of those games where we had to finish early before rammus got tank.

It was so bad. A team of 30s lost to three 30s, a 28 and a 21.
