There's a better way to replace skins and particles.

Go to C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\game\DATA and create a Characters folder. Put you Janna skin in your Janna folder there. The actual skin for Janna should be airAvatar.dds


You really shouldn't mess with your Heropak file, that's the old method for altering skins. Just create the folders in game/DATA/Characters. Get something wrong in your HeroPak and it could mess with patching.


Most character's skins folders and file are their actual names, examples: Nasus, Sivir, Poppy etc. Some character's folders though are Pirate (Gangplank), Voidwalker (Kassadin), and lich (Karthus).
