the problem is ichigo's bankai is shinigami, not hollow so he shouldn't be able to use it.


actually, i just thought about something, the way they cna get around that. when they first went the to save rukia just about everybody said they felt stronger there except ichigo and shinigami are supposed to be stronger there too...

I thought Quincy were the ones who draw energy from their surroundings (like Ishida taking energy from Ichigo in their first Menos fight) and Shinigami are supposed to be just as strong in Soul-Society as in Hueco Mondo or the Human world because their power is internalized in their Zanpoktohs and Spiritual Cores? (sp)

i was pretty sure it was when they went back they said something about being stronger in soul society than on earth but ichigo didn't feel any different at all. hmm but that's also while i was watching the anime and not reading the manga so it might have just been in a filler

Lol, I think this was around episodes 64-70 where they started the Bount filler arc?


I think they used the 'weaker on Earth' thing as an excuse to make the Bount any kind of threat at all XD

Back onto the main arc but They spent the first 16 mins of the episode Recapping the story. Waste of an episode
